Faith

Imagine you have a little boy and he is playing outside and hurts himself and instead of running to you he runs out of the garden over the wall and off he goes to the next door neighbor...

We run and scatter in all different directions all over the place instead of running to the one person that can save us.  That is what I do too, it's my cousin, my friends, work colleagues, the doctor everyone I can think of first, and lastly Jesus.

Why do we do it, when we know we should go to Him first?

Faith is reliance and trust.  Faith is a spiritual substance which resides in the believer's mind.  The opposite of faith is doubt.  Doubt is also a substance with enormous power.
To have Faith is to have Obedience, Honesty, Reliability, Humility, Fearlessness and Power.  Faith brings salvation and brings answers to prayers.

Quote from EGW _  Education, page 253

"Faith is trusting God — believing that He loves us and knows best what is for our good. Thus, instead of our own, it leads us to choose His way. In place of our ignorance, it accepts His wisdom; in place of our weakness, His strength; in place of our sinfulness, His righteousness. Our lives, ourselves, are already His; faith acknowledges His ownership and accepts its blessing."

...you need to have more faith Paula....
